My Life...A Short Story:
Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee I attended Memphis public schools and the University of Memphis. After college I married my husband Val and started my professional career, working either full or part time as we raised our two sons. Most of my corporate career was spent with IBM in Memphis, Springfield, Missouri, San Leandro, California and White Plains, New York. IBM was followed by part-time work and eventually the Real Estate business as the boys grew from childhood through the teen years.
Our sons, Kevin and Dan, were born in California and grew up in Ridgefield, Connecticut. They attended and graduated from Ridgefields public schools which are among the finest in the State of Connecticut at all levels. Kevin and Dan are out on their own and enjoying their careers and life.
Today I am a Full-Time, Licensed Realtor with GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) and CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) credentials. I am a member of the NAR (National Association of Realtors) and have been a top-producing agent for the past 18 consecutive years (My professional resume can be found under Who Am I / My Professional Resume).
I am active in a number of town and area organizations including the Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce, Lions Club, the Ridgefield Community Center Womens Committee, The Keeler Tavern and the Ridgefield Board of Realtors. I also actively support The Ridgefield Symphony, The Ridgefield Playhouse, Ridgefield ABC House (A Better Chance), The Danbury Womens Shelter, Ridgefield High School's Hockey and Basketball Teams and the Ridgefield Historical Society.
When I am not working, we enjoy tennis and golf, the theater in New York City, Bridgeport and Stamford Connecticut as well as trips to Vermont, New Hampshire, Boston, Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket.
My hobbies include shopping...can't help it...at Stamford Town Center, The Westchester Mall, Danbury Town Fair Mall and New York City. My pride and joy, however, was the move we made 4 years ago to an 1890's Victorian. We renovated this charming old house and with a little luck, and a lot of help from Joe Mirra at Pyramid Custom Homes, it did NOT turn out to be a "money pit"!
Over the years, the Mohler family has been fortunate and we count our blessings for having maintained our Southern heritage and having wonderful experiences and memories of Tennessee, Missouri, California and now Connecticut. We simply love it here and believe it is the most beautiful place to live, work and enjoy life in the United States.
I hope to have the opportunity to show you why Ridgefield, Redding and Wilton Connecticut are a slice of heaven, here on earth.
